We have a yummy card from Jenny Gropp to share today using the MC181 Cupcakes Clear set.
Have a great day!
We have a fun shaker card to share today from Daniela Dobson.
Daniela used G2202 Strawberry Trees, CL508 Basic Borders 2 , CC049 Screen, DIE123-P Banners & Tails, CL492 Warm Fuzzies Sentiments, DIE001-Z Shaker Frame Circle Die, Impressions Obsession Shake It Pouches and shaker overlays.
Shaker cards are popular again. Have you seen Impressions Obsession Shake It Pouches? If you haven’t you need to go and take a look. We have different sizes and shapes, ready to be filled. They are self-adhesive. Just stamp your image, place your inclusions on top, peel the backing off and stick them down. Not only that, we have shaker overlays, pre cut to whatever shape you need for your card. I filled mine with sequins and beads.
For the inside image I used an older stamp that I had called Strawberry Trees. I colored the strawberries with watercolor crayons. To cover the outside of my large shake it pouch, I used the Circle Shaker Frame Die. This die fits both sizes of circle pouches.I tied twine around the shaker. For the sentiment, I die cut the banner from Banners & Tails and stamped the sentiment from Warm Fuzzies Sentiments. I stamped some stripes at the bottom from Basic Borders 2 stamp set. It looks like washi tape. I stamped the white background with CAC Screen.

CL41 Thanks Sentiments clear set, A2112 Grapes and D2113 Wine bottle
For my tag, I stamped a saying from the CL41 Thanks Sentiments clear set and then stamped the grapes (A2112) all around the saying. I colored the grapes with watercolor pencils, blended them with a Dove Blender pen, and sponged purple ink around the edges. I then stamped the wine bottle (D2113) onto scrap paper, colored it with watercolor pencils, sponged around the edges, cut it out, and popped it up onto the tag with foam tape. To finish the project, I colored my natural raffia with a purple Copic marker to match the tag.
Have a great day!
Dina Kowal shares a beautiful Mixed Media tutorial today using paints, tissue and fabulous E2455 Ghost Espresso stamp from the Leigh Hannan line at Impression Obsession.
I had fun, anyway, making a new card to share! I was in a Halloween mood, so I went that direction - I had a piece of cardstock that I had scraped with orange and black acrylic paints, so I used that for my card base. I covered that piece with kraft tissue paper, adhering itwith watered down glue. When it was dry, I lightly rubbed dark brown paint over the piece with my finger to highlight the wrinkles in the tissue paper.
The focal image (Ghost Espresso) was stamped on Neenah cardstock, then brayered with acrylic paint. After the paint was dry, I added more color with Lyra Polychrome pencils , and some acrylic and India ink markers.
Laura Fulcher shares a beachy Shaker card today!
Products used: Beach Chair F2337, Cover-a-Card Shells (CC122) & SHP08 Shaker Pouches - Lg. Rectangle.
Have a great day!
We have a spooky but sweet card from Laura Fulcher today.
