We have a gorgeous Christmas card tutorial to share today from Kittie Caracciolo.
Kittie uses the DIE08-0 Santa & DIE027-P Tree Line Die.
I have an easy clean and simple silhouette project to share with you today using the Impression Obsession Santa and Tree Line dies. I think the clean lines of the trees and Santa silhouette work perfectly together to create an interesting yet quick card. I added a few more layers to this than usual but I like the contrast of the background paper with the images.
I started by attaching the layers for the background. I cut the Tree Line, cut the tall tree from the left side and moved it to the right side so the tallest tree would be under the highest reindeer. Did that make sense? I used the tree line as a template to draw the line for the ground snow and, cut it out with my deckle scissors. I crimped it with the wave crimper, attached it to the tree layer and attached the it toe the base layer with mounting tape. I used small pieces of mounting tape on the back of each tree to hold straight and in place. - See more at: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/impression-obsession/#sthash.EJxjsv1D.dpuf

I cut the Santa and attached it to the scene with small pieces of mounting tape. I attached a double section of tape to the highest reindeer so it would have another layer of dimension and appear to be making a slight turn in the flight. I finished by adding a tiny star to the tallest tree and covered it with yellow stickles.
Have a great day!
I saw this on Kittie's blogged. Loved it then, love it now!!
