Springtime Fun Challenge

Welcome to our new challenge and it's time to check out what the DT's "Springtime Fun" creations by clicking on their links below!  They are using products from our New Spring/Summer Collection and our DIES too.  Be inspired, then come back and join us in the fun by posting your card at the bottom of this post between now and next Wednesday.  I can't wait to see theirs and yours too!!!

This challenge continues until next Wednesday, April 10.  For those of you who aren't familiar with our challenges, the guidelines are below:

  • Use all IO stamps/dies.  If the die isn't IO, it should not be an image (card shape templates are okay).
  • Ending time for this challenge is Wednesday, April 10, at 10 p.m. EST.
  • Use the Inlinkz thumbnail format at the end of the April 4 post.
  • The drawing is for a $25 Gift Certificate for use in our on-line store.
  • The winner is picked using Random.org.
  • The players are notified of the winner by email that night.
  • The winner's name will be posted with the DT Thursday post on April 11.
  • All entries are posted in the Customer Card Gallery under Card Galleries at the top of the page, with a link back to your blog/gallery post.

Have some fun, invite a friend to create too, have a stamping/die party and/or create your card using all IO dies/stamps, and post it using the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post.  If you have questions having a gallery or blog, etc. please email me.

Tuesday T&T Sign Post or Planter - Maybe Both! Who says I don't see things sideways!! I saw the Sign Post Die Set and immediately thought of a planter with flowers growing in it. Below is how I did it: Planter: I left the dies for Sign Post connected to do the initial die cuts on brown cardstock. I re-spaced them on white cardstock so they would look more they had mortar in between. Grass was die cut twice for the stems of the flowers. Grass Border was cut for the grass around the planter. Flowers: I used 2 dies from Spiral Flowers and one from Layered Floral. I did the rolled flowers with vellum, but a little different from last time. I still used the Tweezers. A thin line of Glossy Accent (in the bottle on the left with the red top) was placed along the base from the second petal to about the fourth. I started rolling from the outside toward the center. One of the glue dot, like those shown, had one side removed to be ready to use. When I was at the end of the wrap I released it a little so the outside was looser.
