Sweet Thoughts Challenge

Check out what the DT's 'Sweet' creations by clicking on their links below!  They will be using images from the New Spring/Summer Collection, now in our online store HERE.  Grab some inspiration, then come back and join us in the fun by posting your card at the bottom of this post between now and next Wednesday.  Then check out the details for our DT CHA Winter Blog Hop at the bottom of this post.

Sweet can mean a lot of different things.  It can be cupcakes, cakes, ice cream, candy, bees, etc., even flowers!!!  For those of you who aren't familiar with our challenges, the guidelines are below and at the bottom with our Inlinkz directions:
  • Ending time for this challenge is Wednesday, January 23, at 10 p.m. EST.
  • Use the Inlinkz thumbnail format at the end of this post your all IO stamps card.
  • The drawing is for a $25 Gift Certificate for use in our on-line store.
  • The winner is picked using Random.org.
  • The players are notified of the winner by email that night.
  • The winner's name will be posted with the DT Thursday post on January 24.
  • All entries are posted in the Customer Card Gallery under Card Galleries at the top of the page.

Have some fun, invite a friend to create too, have a stamping party and/or create your card using all IO stamps, and then post it using the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post.  If you have questions of any kind please email me.

Well, this one was a challenge for me, but think I figured it out,lol...my new stamps came last week and can't wait to use them!!

Tuesday T&T Watercolors and Dye Inks This is a really easy twisted easel card. I had a 6"X4" cardfront and wondered how hard it would be to do a different size. It was easy peasy. You will notice that the card has no sentiment yet and the die cut on the bottom is empty. I have been making a series of about 35 cards and this is one of those, to be finished when I receive some charms I ordered for it and the others. I stamped Camellia Bouquet with Memento Northern Pine dye ink and painted with watercolors. Some think you can't paint over dyes with watercolor because it will bleed. Well, when I watercolor, I like it to blend!!! :-) Image: Stamped Camellia Bouquet with Memento Northern Pine and painted with watercolors. Drops of dye inks on a plastic surface can be used like watercolors too. Cut the image out, turned it over, and embossed on an embossing mat. Die cut is Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif and white cardstock. Traced the circle center using the same die as a stencil with a piece of ivory/bone/natural cardstock, cut it out, and mounted in the center of the white die cut. Used 3d pop-dots on the...
