Our Design Team member is for today's DT Thursday?  Not too long ago she announced she is a ShinHan Artisan and Product Education Specialist.  The artist part is certainly no surprise, but recently she has also been known as a "Dirty Girl" and actually confessed to it herself.  You will have to check out the details on her blog.  She is a wonderful mother, home schools her 4 children, and is a full time missionary too.  All of this and she does it well!  I swear she must not require much sleep, if any!!

And also time for you to guess which Design Team member is hostessing today's DT Thursday.  She says she has a lot of favorite stamps and can usually tell her favorites by how used they look.  She also likes stamps that can be used in more than one way.  She likes to be able to use images that can be placed at an angle instead of straight on.  She doesn't like to a lot of cutting.  :-)  Her designs are always so elegant and her tutorials are wonderful and fun too!

And also time for you to guess which Design Team member is hostessing today's DT Thursday.  Not only does she design cards for IO, but she is so talented with scrapbook pages, mini albums, tags, etc.  She has been stamping for over 8 years and everything she touches turns to wonderful.  She says she has a lot of favorite stamps.  It's easy to see that, with all of the beautiful cards, etc., that she designs.  She is from Croatia and went home for a visit, last year I think.  She is also a very devoted mother.  How she does it all so well, I will never know.

Additional Operation Write Home Information

• They send blank handmade greeting cards (donated by people like you and me) to deployed troops so they can stay in touch with their loved ones.  If you want to be a part of this great service to our armed forces go HERE to find out more.  They have stamp tutorials, challenges and more fun things for you to do while you are creating your cards for our Heros In Uniform!  Over 1,000,000 cards have been sent so far!
• For just Sept., Oct., and Nov. they expect to spend $13,000 in shipping expenses.  You can learn about more ways to help them with this expense through fun activities by going HERE. 
• If you are making cards AVOID GLITTER - IT REALLY IS A SECURITY RISK IN WAR ZONES.
• You may also want to donate directly to help with their shipping expenses.  You can have card parties with attendees donating and/or you can find out how to do the direct donations by going HERE.  Donations can be as little as $11.
