Getting Ready For Halloween Shakers

I just had someone ask me what the sizes were for the Shake-It^TM Pouches that are in the On-line Store HERE.  She is getting ready for the "Halloween Shaker Cards" challenge.

These measurements are taken from the inside edge to edge.  It does not include the lip with adhesive that adheres to your cardstock.  It was taken with my ruler.

• Large Circle = 3" diameter
• Small Circle = 2" diameter
• Large Square = 2.5" each side
• Small Square = 1 7/8" each side
• Oval length = 2 7/8" and Oval width is 2"

You also have the option of buying pouches with either Pastel or Festive different color mats already cut for you to go around the pouches.  You may even want to try your local stamp store for these.

A Great Challenge And Now For A Great Winner!!!

Day One Of Stamp Simply

And we are just getting started.  We have the "simply beautiful cards" shared by the IO Design Team below:

And you can pick up the starting Customer entries in the next post below.  Now look at what else has been sent to share with you.  The first FIVE cards, you heard me, have been sent by Bernadette Tolley.  The first is created using Holiday Home  It also looks like she used Curious Metallic Ice Gold for the background.  A really lovely card!

For her next she used she chose the same background paper, but used Clear stamp set Flowers For You.  How very sophisticated and elegant with the black ink, the Glossy Black cardstock background and then her images on the Ice Gold!  These stamps can also be purchased in red rubber as Daisy Bunch and Rose Vase.

Then she created the beautiful card below using Feathered Nest, Nicely Nested Branch, and Lovely Leaf Branch. How serene and pretty!

Then she used Morning Glory Heart to make this really bright, cheerful and very pretty card!

For Bernadette's card, she used Hydrangea Sprig and Hydrangea Tag.  I need to get my Ice Gold out.  These cards are just lovely.  Isn't that just so feminine and pretty? Bern said she painted all of these with inks and shimmer paints.  She stated all of her papers are metallic.  Just wonderful and beautiful cards, Bernadette!

And our next entry is this absolutely gorgeous card shared by Deloris Thiede at Stamping At The Lake.  She chose Roses to create what looks like a painting!  Just beautiful, Deloris.

The next card is just adorable.  Vicki Garrett, at Summer Thyme Studio, chose Squinty & Porche Cupcake.  How cute Gail's stamps are and Vicki really did this one justice!

This card is shared with us by Debbie DeBose at Debbie Does Crafts.  She used Flower 4 and Silhouette 4, and did she ever!  Take a look at the creativity with her punch on the Flower 4.  She punched 2 flowers and butterflies to compliment her image.  Very creative Debbie and thanks for sharing with us.  A beautiful card!!

Our last entry for this post is from Shannon White, who used Flower Pitchers.  Isn't this bright and cheerful!  Lovely, Shannon, and thank you for sharing with us.  Shannon said she took her picture with her cell.  If I could do this with a cell I wouldn't need my camera!  :-)

New Stamps On-Line & Home Sweet Home Challenge

Before we get into the challenge, I need to tell you about the latest at IO.  The Fall-Winter rubber and clear stamp sets are now in the IO On-Line Store.  How cool is that!!!

Mitra Will Be At The Arts Festival and Stampaway Convention

Next, I want to let all of you stampers in the Detroit-Novi, Michigan area know that Mitra will be at the Novi Rubber Stamps and Arts Festival, this weekend, August 7 and 8.  Stop by to see her demo the Mega Mount^TM and the Cover-A-Card^TM stamps.  You can also see the new Fall-Winter rubber and clear stamp sets.  While you are there take a look at her nifty Shake-It^TM Pouches.  They make shaker cards as quick as 1-2-3.

This next card is just what every person who loves the country dreams of having at their 'Home Sweet Home'.  It wascreated by Connie Paxman at Shades Of Stamping.  She chose to use Foal to design her beautiful card!  Your foal is just adorable, Connie, and thanks for participating too!

Look at the beautiful card below, shared with us by Donna Heber at Donna's Designs.  A beautiful vintage home she created, using Victorian House.  The pearls and the background paper she chose are just perfect for her house.  Thank you for joining in the fun with us, Donna!

Bernadette Tolley designed this next gorgeous card!  Look at the really pretty treatment around the card too.  The DP really shows off the Winter House image!  She stamped over the red dotted DP using Hanging Mistletoe.  Very creative and Victorian lovely too, Bernadette.  Thank you for sharing your creativity with us and joining in the fun.

This next lovely card was shared by Vicki Garrett at Summer Thyme Studio.  She chose Window With Planter, to create her gorgeous card!  How elegant that window looks against the background she created.  She said she is also getting ready for a Flower Soft & Impression Obsession Blog Hop coming up on August 11.  Thank you for sharing in the fun, Vicki, with this really pretty card!

Last, but certainly not least is the really bright and cheerful card, shown below, from Jennifer Roach at My Scrapy Stampy Little Corner Of The World Wide Web.  She used House With A Porch to design her bright and cheerful card.  How lovely and the background DP's and embellishments really make it summer time elegant too.
