4. Be sure to include your name and blog, if you have one. I will email you back to let you know it's posted here.

I hope to have an IO Challenge Widget you can post on your blog by the next challenge. Challenges are on Thursday.
Next week, starting July 6, Monday through Friday, however, the IO Design Team is having a daily joint challenge with the Shimmerz Design Team. Great fun for everyone. Just think 2 to 4 new cards a day for 5 days. I will be posting sneak peaks for our DT here. I hope to be able to list both DT's daily, So come on over and join the fun. Now down to "Male" business. Ha!
For this card I chose Round Fish - E1632 by Gary Robertson and A5455 "dropping you a line". Gary has some gorgeous wild life stamps.
Image:
It was stamped on White cardstock with StazOn Forrest Green ink, painted with Twinkling H2O's, and highlighted with Shimmerz. I used a Niji Waterbrush just slightly wet to paint with Shimmerz. They really go on smoother for me that way. I used Glossy Accents on the bubbles and the eyes!
A Spellbinders Round die was used as a template to trace around the image. Then the image was turned face down in the die and an Embossing Stylus was used to put a rim around the image. Quicker than going into the other room and back. The next die down was placed in the middle of that and another rim was embossed. It kind of looks like you might be seeing him/her through a submarine window. It and the words were mounted on 3d Pop dots.
Background:
The DP behind the image and under the ribbon are both from the Basic Grey Marrakech collection. The paper under the ribbon is really more like the color of the water where the fish is. The ribbon is May Arts and it is a deep olive with an orange cast to it. Both are much prettier IRL. The paper at the very back behind the blue is Stardream Fuse Flame, a hot orange. The brads are copper.
The Spellbinders Large Oval next to smallest die was used for the words. I traced the impression with the stylus just like I did for the fish. I also sponged some of the Twinkling H2O that I used for the water around the edge of the die cut. The words were stamped with StazOn Olive Green. I went over them with a Gelly Roll Stardust Dark Green pen. Copper cord was used to tie into the words.
If I have time I may take another picture. The colors are more Pumpkin Orange, Aqua, and Olive Green.
