It's A Mother's Day Challenge

The Design Team is doing a Mother's Day Challenge and I almost forgot. This is one of the fastest little cards out of the gate.

The image is Garden Heart G2293 and was stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Beige. Then I used the reinker bottle and a Niji Waterbrush to do the flowers and the leaves. I didn't have any stamps for the words that would fit, so I painted them in with the Niji waterbrush too. I used Rangers Liquid Pearls White Opals for the centers of the flowers and the little fronds around the center, etc.

The background is Spellbinders Impressabilities Flowers. I put it through the Cuttlebug, using Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, and then I put the embossing plate over the same cardstock and sponged the areas that weren't embossed with Pearlescent Beige.

The card is a Tri-Fold and the background was mounted on Curious Metallic Cappuccino. I trimmed around the heart and then mounted it on the left side using 3D Dimensional Dots. I used them on the other side too, but put removable Scotch Tape on the bottom of the dots so they hold when closed, but can be reopen again and again. The bow is May Arts and the pin is from JoAnn's sewing section. The beads are Czech and in the bead section of most hobby stores.

For some reason my camera isn't doing well with colors lately. The Beige and the Cappuccino are really a lot softer colors that this. Hope you like it and hope you will stop by the Design Team Members sites below to see their wonderful creations:
