The Design Team is having an Easter Challenge today. I created the card above with that in mind.
Image:
- Flower Vase F7185 by Sarah Phelps was stamped Brilliance Galaxy Gold on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Super Smooth cardstock. The heat gun was used to dry ink.
- The flowers were painted with a Niji waterbrush and Twinkling H2O's.
- Baby Pink and Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft was used where shown.
- The Tulips and the White flowers were stamped again and then mounted with 3-D Dots.
- The image was then cut out. Stamp body of vase area with Small Flourish Three C2040 inked with Brilliance Galaxy Gold.
- Neenah Classic White Laid cardstock was used with Spellbinders (next to the smallest) Curved Rectangle die in the Cuttlebug to emboss it. The stack was 3 pieces of cardstock, A Plate, C Plate, Tan embossing mat, cardstock, die (sharp side facing down), B plate. Trim around 3rd embossed edge when done.
- Mounted Flowers and Vase with 3-D Dots on Laid Die Cut.
- Apply Glossy accents to flowers and vase as shown.
Background:
- Floral Background L4233 was stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Super Smooth cardstock using Adirondack Red Pepper.
- Trim around edge of stamped area.
- Place Spellbinders Large Rectangle (next to largest in the center of the stamped area) through Cuttlebug with same stack as above in Image: 6.
- Place in the center of Neenah Classic Linen Solar White 4.25"x5.5" cardstock.
Assemble:
- Mount Image in the center of Floral Background using 3-D Dots on each corner of die cut.
- Thread a price of ribbon beneath image as shown and in the center across the width of the cardfront. Attach to the back on both sided and then mount on 5.5"x11" folded piece of cardstock.
- Use die from Cuttlebug Vintage Die set with Stardream Jupiter text weight paper. Mounted on upper left-hand corner.
- Mount Easter Chick from unknown source on lower right-hand corner of image die cute as shown. Why the chick. Well, that is what Easter is all about, life!
- Mount Mark Richards 2mm Red Crystal Stickers Elements as shown.
