Our Oldies But Goodies Challenge Winner And Up Coming Events

What a really great challenge we had!  Our challenge winner, selected by Random.org for our "Oldies But Goodies Challenge", is Helena  at Oceans of Imagination.  Congratulations, Helena, and happy shopping!  If the rest of you missed all of the DT members' beautiful designs and the other entries for the challenge, please check them out Here.

This is usually DT Thursday, but this week we are doing it a little different.  Where is the the Design Team you might ask?  Well, they are busy busy busy making cards, with images from the NEW SPRING 2012 CATALOG, for CHA and for next week's CHA DT Blop Hop.

I am not on the Design Team, but I do participate in the challenges now and then.  A while back we had a No Pattened Paper Challenge.  I had started a card, but did not get it finished in time.  It would have been great for this Oldies But Goodies Challenge too.  So, I am going to post it here for you today and hope you enjoy it.  I also have it in a post on my blog with the details HERE.

Below are the rules for the scheduled DT AND FAN BLOG HOP, which begins January 30, also the start of CHA, and continues through Friday, February 3. There will be a $25 Gift Certificate Drawing every day and an additional $25 Gift certificate awarded on Friday, all for use in our online store.  For you to be eliginble to win you should:

• START HERE every day to see which DT Members are participating and to link to their blogs.
  
• Comment HERE and on every participating DT member's blog on that day to be eligible for that day's drawing.
• For Friday's drawing you must have completed all comments for Monday through Friday.
• This means someone on Friday has a chance for $50 worth of free stamps (sigh)!  Maybe more for the week if Random.org loves them! ;-)
  
• You can go back to each day to catch up for Friday's drawing and the 5 day drawing.
  

I am really excited to see the cards created by the Design Team with the NEW 2012 SPRING CATALOG images and to hand out the certificates too.  I can't wait to see what you think too.  The new images are really great!!!  For those of you who have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and EMAIL ME.

Our next challenge , "Hey There, Hi, Hello" starts on Thursday, February 16, and continues until the following Wednesday evening, February 22, at 10 p.m. If you would like a chance to another $25 gift certificate, create your card for our "Hey There, Hi, Hello Challenge" and enter it using the Inlinkz at the bottom of the February 16 post.

Your card is wonderful! It really looks like that cute snowman family is in a winter wonderland. I love the pine branches as a backdrop. And your coloring and the little details like the star and the polka-dots on the little ones hat and scarf really make the card! Thank you for sharing.
