The Inchie-IO Fall Challenge Has Begun
It's our IO Fall Card Using Inchies Challenge. If you don't have your Inchies supplies by now, you may want to substitute by using your square punches until you get yours. To find out more about Inchies products you can check HERE. To see what Inchies and our IO DT have created you can click on the links below:
Now, a little bit about the uniqueness of Inchies:
They are made from the highest quality matte board in the marketplace today. They behave like a very high quality art paper - some compare it to a super thick hot press watercolor paper. They can be colored with both wet and dry mediums from color pencils, pastels, watercolor paints, Copic markers to stains and dyes without warping or disintegrating. And of course their thickness provides a perfect platform for embellishing! The product is available in 7 different colors, in 3 different sizes. Product info can be found on the Inchies web site and all kinds of tutorials and ideas, plus the great ideas above from the IO DT and Inchies too, or how to use the products can be found on their creative blog, All In An Inch.
Now for our first entries from our customers. The first two were created by Tracey Kuzniak. She chose to use Cover-A-CardTM Pine, Large Paisley, Flourishes, Woven, and Swirls & Stars. Her sentiment is a rub-on. A really beautiful patch work card, Tracy! She said she is in love with the Cover-A-CardTM stamps.
For her second card she again used Cover-A-CardTM Large Paisley, Flourishes, and Swirls & Stars and the word is a rub-on. A really bright, warm, and gorgeous Fall card, Tracey. Thank you for participating and good luck in the drawing too!
The last wonderful card for this post comes from Deloris Thiede at Stamping At The Lake. Her card was designed using Fall Cube. A really stunning Fall card and really beautiful use of inks too! Thank you so much for sharing with us, Deloris and good luck in the drawing too!
For those of you who are new to our challenges, and would still like to participate in this challenge, follow the guidelines below and you too can get a chance to win free stamps of your choice with our $25 Gift Certificate:
- Challenges are held the First and Third Thursdays of each month, unless otherwise noted.
- Please use at least one Impression Obsession stamp. If you use other stamps please let me know so I am not trying to find one stamp out of the 4000 in the store! :-(
- Please provide the name(s) and/or stamp number(s) of IO stamps only with your email to me. If you have a problem finding this information, sometimes I can help.
- Entries will be accepted until tomorrow, Friday, 9p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
- Email your entry to me using the Email Shirley link provided near the top of the second sidebar to the right.
- All participants' cards will be posted here the day they are entered. If the number of entries becomes large, entries may need to be posted to a gallery, blog, etc., and hyper-linked from here. If that happens, I will be glad to provide a list of sites that offer free galleries, blogs, etc. for those who do not currently have them.
- Cards with all IO Stamps will permanently be added to our IO Customer Album in the very next sidebar over.
- ALL participants in the current challenge will be entered in the drawing for the Impression Obsession $25 Gift Certificate. We use Random.org to select the winner.
- It is for use at our ON-LINE STORE.
Don't forget a list of our challenges is on the second sidebar to the right. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. So get busy out there!! Stamp up a Fall Inchies card and send it to me. If you don't have Inchies right now, substitute with square punches until you get some. Hope you are having a great week!! Thanks for stopping by to say hi!
